The room had a really basic setup. A television and fridge would have made a huge difference!!! The temperature was unadjustable. Improvements needed for the overall room amenities!!!

Hard-working staff, outstanding and excellant breakfast with home made waffles. Central location close enough to the mountains, and downtown, QUIET atmosphere.

Everything was more than fine, I felt very comfortable in this nice basic hotel. Loved well-equipped and brand-new standard room with nice views, wouldn't mind staying there all day. The location was PERFECT, next to the big forest, really close to the town Egilstadir, the restaurant on one of two nights stayed and Iceland. It also was in a nice green field.

The outdoor jacuzzi offered a relaxing end to our busy day of exploring the area, and the fresh lamb at dinner was really good!

The cleaning in the common areas could have been more thorough. Some areas had visible dust and debris.

Fairly clean hotel, functional rooms, prime location in a nice sunny area looking out over the countryside. Reasonably good breakfast, particularly coffee, fresh bread and cheese. Location not far from the main streets. A very peaceful way to end my trip.

the hotel is comfortable, nestled in a very lovely building with garden views. the rooms are large with exceptionally comfortable beds and smoke detectors.

Options that catered to every taste. The staff were cute and even pointed out local attractions. The only downside was the lack of dinner service at the time of our visit, but it didn't overshadow the overall experience.

We spotted the aurora borealis from our terrace.

Spacious, clean room with lovely views overlooking the forest! The staff were helpful, suggesting local sights and providing a delicious breakfast with homemade bread. The outdoor hot tub was a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring 😊

We stayed in a cottage and it was super cozy! The bed was really comfortable, and the cabin had a nice porch that was perfect. The bathroom was spacious, a nice surprise. The kitchen area was handy, too, although the water had a strong smell. The common area was lovely for hanging out after a long day. It seemed like a perfect little getaway in nature!
